Mission statement:

Our purpose is to be of service during re-entry, while providing clean and sober transitional housing for homeless and incarcerated veterans. "A bridge for change"

Veterans In Recovery Program Services will assist veterans whom are reintegrating from the justice system to the community, and drug and alcohol recovery.

Our program assist veterans with addiction issues, guiding and navigating them to 12  step programs within Jackson county.

Veterans In Recovery meets every Tuesday night at 7:00 pm at the VA SORCC, White City , Oregon . (12 step Dual Addiction meetings).

Our leisure activities include Fishing, camping and community cookouts at the VA SORCC, we served over 1300 vets during the summer of 2010.

Veterans In Recovery volunteers also have attended the Oregon Dept Of Correction Mentor training (HGO) Home For Good Oregon, bridging the gap between the Justice System and the Community. As mentors we can guide and encourage our vets as they reintegrate back into the community, increasing the vets chance of continuous sobriety and  reducing recidivism.
